The reports of Planning Commission of India says that a heart by pass surgery is much cheaper in India as compared to other countries of world. It would cost a patient around $6, 000 in India but it is much expensive in Thailand ($7,894), Singapore ($10, 417), US ($23, 938) and Britain ($19, 700).
